FLOR DE PINGUS 2016 - RED WINE- EXPORT SPAIN - UK -
Flor de Pingus has won 96 points in the latest edition of the Peñín Guide, thus placing it on the podium of the best Spanish wines.
Vineyards located in the municipality of La Horra (Burgos).
The secret of these wines is in the old Tinto Fino vineyards that are grown on the small plot of five hectares and in a very controlled selection of the grape, both in vineyard and in the cellar
20 ha of vineyards in La Horra, with strains from 25 to 50 years old, on sandy soils.
Aged for 18 months, 40% of the wine in new Allier oak barrels and the rest in used barrels.
In the mouth the entrance of this wine is surprising, a sweet but bulky point at the same time. It is a red wine with a tamed tannin and a smoothness that pleases the palate. Long and juicy at the end.
