The Marqués de Riscal winery has more than 150 years of history. Reference of the Spanish wine scene, Marqués de Riscal is considered one of the first modern Riojan companies that began to produce quality wines.
At present, the Marquis de Riscal has 1,500 hectares of vineyards, 600 of which are owned, where Tempranillo, Grano, Mazuelo and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties are grown.

View: Cherry colored wine quite covered. Balsamic and spicy aroma of great complexity, with notes of ripe black fruits and lightly toasted

Marqués de Riscal Reserva is a red wine made with Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo from vineyards over 40 years old, located on calcareous clay soils.
After the harvest, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature with a maceration of 12 days. Finished this, it carries out a minimum aging of 2 years in American oak barrels. Rest a minimum of one year in the bottle before going to market.
Marqués de Riscal Reserva is an expressive, structured and elegant wine. On the nose are the notes of aging, licorice, black pepper, leather, on a background of ripe red fruit. The palate is silky and agile, with a long and balsamic finish. The classic of La Rioja.
