Rum special reserve
Arehucas opened its factory in the Canary Islands in 1884. Its production had great acceptance, being recognized and awarded its quality, in the Regional Exhibition of that year, which was attended with sugars, alcohols and samples of cane spirits made in different years.
For the development of its work, the technology that stands out from the production process of Arehucas Distilleries is its winery, which is what gives Arehucas its hallmark to its products, and is also one of the largest rum wineries in Europe . Thus, the firm is present at both the island and national and international levels. The signature slogan has to do with the history of sugarcane and rum: Christopher Columbus on one of his trips took sugarcane from Gran Canaria to Santo Domingo and Brazil and, subsequently, from there he went to Cuba and to rest of the American continent, leaving the maximum as, "Arehucas cradle of rum."
