Zacapa is a rum made with a mixture of aged rums between 6 and 23 years. In the production of rum, "virgin honey" pressed from sugarcane is used. It is stored in barrels to age whiskeys and wines from Jerez. The secret is its slow aging in the cold lands of Guatemala (2,300 m altitude). Zacapa was five years in a row the best RON in the world at the International Rum Tasting Contest and is the only premium rum in the Rum Hall of Fame. In 2012, Zacapa was recognized by the World Luxury Association, one of the most valued and influential brands in the luxury market. Warm and soft on the nose, with hints of vanilla, honey, nuts, smoke and orange peel. The sweet fruit and chocolate flavors of rum are best appreciated when consumed alone, with ice.

Ron Zacapa 23, prepared in Guatemala as a simple expression of patience, wealth and quality, was created by Master Blender Lorena Vásquez with an aging process at some 2,300 m altitude in the famous "house above the clouds".

Perfectly aged in the mountains of Quetzaltenango, Ron Zacapa develops its complex flavor and character at 2,300 m above sea level in the mystical “House Above the Clouds.” The moderate to cold climate of the mountains makes the aging process is slower, which gives rum more time to display its complex aromas - to get a quality rum with super-balanced flavors!
Pure pleasure: Zacapa rum is best served cold and with some ice cubes. For even more special moments, enjoy it with a piece of dark chocolate.
